V.S. Mani Iyer, the founder of Mani’s Lunch Home, Mumbai (Bombay) lost his parents at an early age and had to take care of his expenses at a very early age. He was brought up by his sister an brother in law. As he grew up he realized that toying with different kinds of recipe, both national and international and offering mouth watering dishes to his friends and acquaintances.

Later on he took up cooking and offering mouth watering dishes to his friends and others, his occupation. After traveling through a number of places, V.S. Mani Iyer reached Mumbai and started a business of cooking food and supplying to different places including offices. That was the beginning of the journey. From then onwards he could manage to excel in this business and later on he opened his own eating joint by the name Mani’s Lunch Home, Mumbai (Bombay).

The present Mani’s Lunch Home exclusively caters to people willing to have the taste of south Indian dishes in Mumbai. Mumbai is a multi-cultural city and people of all religion and different ethnic group flock there for personal or business purposes.
